eden

Eden is one of the "big 7" nightclubs in Ibiza. Joining the likes of Pacha, Space, Amnesia, Privilege, El Divino and Es Paradis, Eden is the main clubbing destination for tourists and locals alike in San Antonio.

Opening party

Although the club had already opened the previous summer (1999) under the name Eden, it wasn't until the year 2000 that it took its current form. Eden was the success story of summer 2000. After spending millions to rebuild the club during the previous winter, the May 2000 opening was eagerly awaited by press and patrons alike. Star DJ's on the night were Radio 1's Judge Jules and Dave Pearce. This night was voted amongst the top 10 nights in Ibiza from the previous 10 years by DJ Magazine.

Location

Situated opposite from local rival Es Paradis near to the famed "Egg" monument and roundabout, but also next to the beach. This means that it falls between the main beach road to San Jose (Av. Dr. Fleming) and the main road to Ibiza Town (Ctra. de Eivissa) on a small street called "Calle Salvador Espriu".

Promoters in the past few seasons have included: Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Judgement Sundays, Hed Kandi, Garlands, Dusted, MTV, Sundissential, Slinky, Euphoria & Retro, making this the number one destination for British Tourists on the Island. This is also the venue for the prestigious M8 (magazine) Ibiza Dance Awards Show each year.
